I offer supervision and consulting to mental health professionals primarily via the lens of Jungian Analytical Psychology and Art Therapy, although I will incorporate ideas from other theoretical models into our work depending upon the population or material presented. Opening our minds to other perspectives and taking the risk to explore our role as a therapist nourishes and deepens our work within the consulting room.
As a therapist, you do not need extensive knowledge to begin this particular depth work with your clients. Supervision will include education as well as a clinical examination of the material that surfaces within the sessions. We will use dreams, artwork, and other imaginative material to consider therapeutic relationships, including the transference and countertransference and the intersubjective field.
